Texturing Progress in Substance Painter
For some of the modular pieces, I textured them in Substance Painter! I usually get basic materials from the default smart materials/ base shader in Substance Painter, Substance Share, Poly Heaven, GameTextures, and my own material from Substance Designer. I customize and adjust the color, oldness, damage, and more details starting from the base materials by working with real reference images.
Since this is an environment for video games, the assets are low-poly and baked with a high-poly version to get more details. And finally, when I export the texture maps, I use Unreal Engine 4 (Packed) for the output template and export three maps: diffuse, ORM (occlusion, roughness, and metallic), and normal.
